Measuring and documenting the body temperature of a person as a surrogate for a person’s central body temperature (the highest temperature at the centre of the torso)

==Purpose==
Measuring the body temperature is of medical importance. A number of diseases are accompanied by characteristic changes in body temperature. The symptoms of some diseases can be tracked by measuring the body temperature. The healthcare provider can use this temperature development to determine the effect of the treatment.
